**I’ve rarely enjoyed scanning a book so much as I did this one - it’s packed with characters and stories, opinions and anecdotes. The copy I scanned is titled “Ireland 120 Years” - it has also appeared as “Ireland 90 Years Ago” and, originally as “Ireland 60 Years Ago” - the correct title in 2001 should be “Ireland About 220 Years Ago.” The title page is missing but I know that it was published by M. H. Gill & Son Ltd. around 1911. I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I did! KF, March 2001.
